Mil Milhas 1000km. A further step taken by the Le Mans Series is bringing the famous Le Mans name to Brazil, and with it, the world of endurance in which it excels. Today sees the arrival of a Le Mans Series race in this country which justifiably enjoys a rich sporting history.

There is an air of returning to the roots of the "Mil Milhas Brasil". Created in 1956, this race has already followed in the footsteps of the European 1000km events. Moreover blood being thicker than water, the start adopted for the very first Mil Milhas was a 'Le Mans-style' start.
